The Little Theatre of Manchester is hosting auditions for a June production of Stephen Karam’s Pulitzer nominee, Sons of the Prophet, directed by Debi Freund. From the author of The Humans (2016 Tony Award for Best New Play) comes the funniest play about human suffering, grief, and loss you’re likely to see. The New York Times calls this play an “…absolute wonderful new comedy-drama… exploring how people endure the unendurable… with sustaining measures of HOPE, LOVE and GOOD HUMOR.”
We are seeking five men: two who can pass as high school teens (one African-American, one white), two men in their late 20’s – early 30’s, and one 60-70; as well as three women (two in their 50’s-60’s and one in her 40’s (two of the women play multiple roles).
Auditions are Sunday, 2/26 from 12 – 4 and Monday, 2/27 from 7-9 at Cheney Hall, 177 Hartford Road, Manchester. Please be prepared to read from the script. Rehearsals begin in April.
