Rascal Rep

Rascal Rep celebrated its 14th season and we shook things up!  We wanted our kids to have a great production, so we focused on rehearsal, learning lines, dance steps, songs and so much more about what goes on in a production. Last year, Rascal Rep produced High School Musical 2, Jr.  The cast members came from the towns of Glastonbury, Manchester, South Windsor, East Hartford, Coventry and North Windham, and rehearsed for five weeks prior to production. The season was sponsored in part by a grant from the New Alliance Foundation.

Robby McAvoy, just 8 years old and an accomplished photographer is the Official Photographer for Rascal Rep for the 15th season this year! Visiting the cast during rehearsals, young Robbytook scene shots and did headshots for each of the youngsters in the cast and the Directors as well! They are shown in the foyer at Cheney Hall.

The Rascal Rep show for 2011 was "Fiddler on the Roof, Jr.." The play was produced on Friday, July 22 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, July 23 at 2 p.m.
