When her husband dies, Annie and her Yorkshire Women’s Institute members COME TOGETHER to raise money for a new settee in the local hospital waiting room by posing for a calendar…. COMPLETELY IN THE NUDE. Positioned behind flowers, cakes, and knitting projects, the women discover what it means to be confident in their own skin and the shining beauty within themselves and each other. Based on a true story, this hilarious play will leave you feeling better about life than when you entered the theatre.

The LTM production is directed by Gloria Trombley of Manchester, whose experience extends across a span of 30 years. Born and raised in Connecticut, Trombley did her graduate work in theatre and dance at Wesleyan University. She has been producing, directing, choreographing and teaching theatre in various universities, performing arts programs, as well as regional and community theatres since the early 1980s. Her production of ‘Will Rogers Follies’ was nominated by the San Francisco Bay Area Circle Theatre Critics for awards as Best Director and Best Production in the large Musical Theatre category.

“I am nostalgic about it,” says Trombley. “The beauty of this show is that it reveals the test of friendship. We have a wonderful cast who are very well established and who have worked amazingly to put a contemporary approach to an English comedy. The concepts of comradery, love, and support create a very universal theme that our audience is sure to enjoy. I think audiences will be surprised how truly modern this show can be.”
