Biographies

Alysa Auriemma (Amy and Dance Captain) is a graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Fine Arts with a BFA in Acting, as well as an MA in English. LTM productions include Shrek the Musical (Dragon), Camelot (Guenevere), Is He Dead? (Cecile), and Arsenic and Old Lace (Elaine). Other faves include Lucy in Avenue Q, and Rosie in Bye Bye Birdie. She's a writer and teacher when not pretending to be other people. Thanks to this beautiful cast, my family, and Michael Forgetta for trusting me with this gem of a role. And as always, this is dedicated to her biggest fans – her nephews Christian, Andrew, and Luke!

Ann Azevedo (Vocal Minority) is thrilled to be back on stage after a hiatus of several years while she traveled the world for work and pleasure. Thanks, Kim & Michael for welcoming me back, and thanks to Don, as always, for everything.

Cara Babich (Marta) is so excited to return to LTM. She holds her BFA in Musical Theatre from Emerson College. Cara was part of the original Off-Broadway cast of Brunch: The Musical and has also performed for Carnival Cruise Lines. Some past favorite roles include: Baker’s Wife (LTM’s Into the Woods), Lisa/Homeless Lady (A New Brain), Queenie (both LaChiusa's and Lippa's The Wild Party), Dorothy Brock (42nd Street), and Reno Sweeney (Anything Goes). Her current musical outlet is her wedding band, The Soul Sensations. Many thanks and much love to her wonderful family, and especially to her amazing fiancé.

Randy Boyd (Larry) has been playing on stages throughout New England for nearly 4 decades. He is thrilled to be back at Cheney Hall with this talented group of actor/musicians. Randy was last seen here as Ben Franklin in 1776. His favorite roles include Billy Crocker in Anything Goes, Billy Flynn in Chicago and Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls. He lives in Enfield with his leading lady Lisa and daughter Randi.

Kate Brophy (April) is elated to be a part of this talented cast! No stranger to the Cheney Stage, she he has been involved in a smattering of productions statewide including roles in, most recently, Shrek the Musical, The Vagina Monologues, The Warner’s Hello Dolly (Irene Malloy), LTM’s South Pacific (Nellie Forbush), RENT (Maureen), Reefer Madness (Sally), Footloose, Bye Bye Birdie, Annie Get Your Gun, to name a few. Enormous thanks to the directors, cast, and crew, and the endless support of her amazing friends and family! Love you Mom <3

Jane Cerosky (Joanne) has performed and directed in the Hartford area for over 25 years. Directing credits at LTM include The Producers, Nunsense and Anything Goes, as well as Chicago, Secret Garden, Kiss Me, Kate and Thoroughly Modern Millie for Manchester Musical Players. Acting credits include Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady (LTM), Martha in Secret Garden (LTM), Sister Hubert in Nunsense (Suffield Players), Sarah in No Way to Treat a Lady (LTM) and Princess Puffer in The Mystery of Edwin Drood. Jane currently lives in Glastonbury with her husband, Gregg and looks forward to the day she can be a “lady who lunches!”

Donato DiGenova (Vocal Minority) is thrilled to be singing on the LTM stage for the 9th time, and the first time since 1776. My love and appreciation to Ann for her limitless patience (break a leg). Also thanks to Michael and Kim for working around my hectic schedule.

Tracy Funke (Sarah) is thrilled to be returning to the LTM stage with such a talented cast! Recent roles include Mama Ogre/Humpty Dumpty/Others in Shrek the Musical at LTM, Muriel Eubanks in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels at Broad Brook Opera House, Alice Miller in My Favorite Year with TGS, and Mrs. Corry in the CT Premier of Mary Poppins at Thomaston Opera House. Tracy has performed and choreographed in a variety of professional venues. Tracy has her graduate degree in mental health counseling from CCSU, as well as her B.F.A in Musical Theatre from The Hartt School. This show is dedicated to my amazing friends who prove daily that “life is company, love is company.”

Dawne Robinson Gagnon (Vocal Minority) studied voice at the Hartt School of Music, Dance at American Ballet School, Song Style with Andy Thomas of the Singers Forum in New York City and Acting at the HB Studios in New York City. She has performed professionally in New York and Connecticut. She is a private voice teacher. Favorite roles include Luisa in The Fantasticks, Polly Brown in The Boy Friend, Little Mary Sunshine, Lucille in No No Nannette, Mrs. Medlock in The Secret Garden, and The Witch in the Opera Hansel and Gretel, among many others.

James Galarneau (David) James has been performing on stage for over 20 years, working with theater groups throughout Western Massachusetts and Connecticut including the Little Theatre of Manchester, Manchester Musical Players, the Broad Brook Opera House Players, UMass Theater Guild, and the Westfield Theater Group on productions such as Barefoot in the Park, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, South Pacific, Les Misérables, Fiddler on the Roof, Our Town, The Man Who Came to Dinner, ANNIE, Pirates of Penzance, Guys & Dolls, and You Can’t Take it With You. He also did background work for the Warner Bros. films Edge of Darkness and Central Intelligence.

Rodney K. (Paul) This is Rodney's first show with LTM and he couldn't be happier to be part of this fantastically talented cast. Rodney has performed in numerous productions with multiple theater companies around CT (The Warner, Landmark Community Theatre, Hole In The Wall, Theatre Guild of Simsbury, Opera House Players, and Farmington Valley Stage Co.) Jenna R. Levitt (Susan) is extremely excited to return to LTM after last being seen here as Sister Margaretta in The Sound of Music. Favorite roles include Gertrude in Seussical, Narrator in Joseph…, Aldonza in Man of La Mancha, and Mrs. Meers in Thoroughly Modern Millie. Jenna would like to thank Michael, Kim, and Todd for the opportunity to be a part of this amazing show, along with the wonderfully talented cast and crew for making this an experience she will never forget. Phone rings, door chimes, in comes COMPANY!

Debi Newirth (Vocal Minority) joins LTM for the first time. She majored in vocal performance/ opera at Hartt College and was second-place winner of the CT Opera Guild competition. A retired member of the American Guild of Musical Artists, she appeared with the CT Opera professional chorus for six years (blessed to appear with operatic greats Luciano Pavarotti, Monserrat Caballe, and Frederica von Stade, among others). Debi currently sings with GMChorale, GM Chamber Singers, and as VOCE core concert artist. Debi would like to thank Dave and Michael for having faith in her ability to contribute to this fabulous production.

Lisa Garofalo Polack (Vocal Minority) has appeared on stage with Little Theatre of Manchester, Manchester Musical Players, stop/time dance theater, and the Warner Theatre. Favorite roles include Tess in Crazy For You, Annie in Chicago, Alice in Thoroughly Modern Millie and Purity (Angel) in Anything Goes. Lisa is a flutist and occasionally plays with the Manchester Symphony Orchestra. Often seen carrying around a book (or two!), Lisa is a School Librarian for grades K-8 in Ellington, Connecticut and is an active member of Connecticut’s Nutmeg Book Award Steering Committee.

Shawn Procuniar (Harry and Set Designer) first appeared on the LTM stage in You Can't Take It With You in 2013 and has since performed in Noises Off, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Is He Dead, and last season’s Barefoot In The Park. However, Company is special as it marks his first singing role… on any stage… in front of people… <gulp> He thanks Michael, Kim and Dawne for all their support and encouragement. Along with an amazing cast, he couldn't have done it without them. As always, he wants to give a special thanks to Erik for his unconditional support. He dedicates the performances to the best practice partner ever, Gavin who was patient and understanding, and only howled that one time with disapproval.

Randy Ronco (Robert) was last seen on stage as Ghost of Christmas Present at Chestnut Street Playhouse. Thank you St. Kevin. Miss you Bishop. Love to Helen.

Michelle Ortiz-Saltmarsh (Jenny) lives in Springfield, MA with her husband Lee and their 3 dogs. Her first theater experience was stage managing La Botanica in college and that was the beginning of her love of theater. Some of her favorite roles include: Marmee in Little Women, Girl Bear/ Mrs. T in Avenue Q, Nat in Rabbit Hole, Alexis Notsobite in Adam and Steav’s Comedy Wedding Experience, Gertrude in Squatters, Mrs. Cratchit in A Christmas Carol, Betty Meeks in The Foreigner. To her husband, “I Love You!”

Sherrie Schallack (Vocal Minority) likes to perform at Little Theatre of Manchester and has done so regularly since 2009. She has recently branched out to Broadbrook Opera House and will be playing the part of Red Riding Hood's Grandmother in Into the Woods there in May. Sherrie loves to sing and is grateful to be in the vocal minority where she can sing with music in hand and not have to worry about choreography! Her husband Ronald is LTM's sound designer for this and other shows. Sherrie sings at local churches often and works at Prudential in Hartford.

Deb Thaler (Vocal Minority) is so happy to be included in the company of Company here at LTM. Deb's been active in the Connecticut theatre scene for ever! Hartford Children's theatre,Hole in the Wall, SLOCO,Playhouse on Park,TGS, just to name a few. You might have seen her previously as Yenta in Fiddler on the Roof at The Connecticut Cabaret Theatre eons ago or more recently at The Connecticut Theatre Company. Typecasting. True? Of course,true.

Sal Uccello (Peter) is excited to be playing the part of Peter and working with this exceptionally talented cast and crew. He was last seen as Victor Velasco in last season’s LTM production of Barefoot in the Park. Sal’s a past recipient of LTM’s best supporting actor award for his work in Anne Pie’s Sing Virgie Sing and he’s worked with many CT Theater groups over his many years of acting. Sal’s real life job is as a Business Analyst at McCue Mortgage the past 30 years. Thank you Michael for your unconditional love, support and patience these past 27 years.
