NOTICE OF ANNUAL MEETING
THE LITTLE THEATRE OF MANCHESTER, INC.

 

The Annual Meeting of The Little Theatre of Manchester, Inc. (the "Corporation") will be on December 6, 2023, at 6:30 PM at Cheney Hall.

 

Among the items up for vote at the Annual Meeting are the following:

a)   Adoption of the Corporation's Amended Bylaws as presented

b)   Election of Governing Board Directors

 

6:00 - 6:30 Social Hour and Potluck Dinner 

LTM will provide entrées, dinnerware, flatware, and beverages. Please bring a side dish or dessert to share with all. Also, bring serving utensils.

NEW GOVERNING BOARD CANDIDATE BIOS

Edward Fitzgerald

I received a B.A. Degree from Trinity College (2006) and a Master’s degree in Accounting from Eastern Connecticut State University (2018).  Prior to going back to school I worked in the personal financial services industry as a financial planner.  Since 2018, I have been working as a public accountant and I am currently a Manager at Nicola-Yester and Co, a local public accounting firm.  I work with closely held, family owned businesses to provide attest and tax services.  I am a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP).  I live in Manchester with my wife Corrine and two children, Callie & Trey.  I am currently serving on the boards of the East Eagles Endowment Fund and the Associated Builders and Contractors- CT Chapter. Manchester is very lucky to have the Little Theatre and I am looking forward to serving on the board.

Ken O’Hara

Ken is a 15yr Manchester resident who is passionate about supporting community arts.  Ken first became interested in theater as a teenager when he attended Thayer Academy, a preparatory school in Braintree, MA.  Ken took part in several productions, including CabaretOnce on This Island, and A Midsummers Night's Dream.  Ken went on to attend the University of Hartford and currently volunteers at the Barney School of Business.  Today, Ken is a proud insurance agency owner of a Farmers Insurance agency, located in downtown Manchester, CT.  He is also a Director of Operational Excellence, specializing in Lean Six Sigma at CVS Health/Aetna since 2013.  In his downtime, Ken enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, and his bulldog, Tulip.  He also loves golfing and coaching Manchester Little League.

Millie Texidor-Maffucci

As the newly appointed President of the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, I, Millie Texidor-Maffucci, bring over three decades of successful banking experience to the role. As President of the Chamber of Commerce, I am dedicated to promoting economic growth and prosperity in the local community. I am committed to creating opportunities for small businesses and entrepreneurs to thrive by providing access to resources, networking opportunities, and business education. I have worked with local government officials to advocate for policies that support economic development and job creation. I am passionate about promoting economic development in Manchester and beyond, and I strive to provide businesses with the tools and networking opportunities they need to succeed. Throughout my career, I have excelled in building strong partnerships within the community, having served on the Board of Directors for various prominent non-profit organizations, such as My Sisters Place, MACC Charities, March Inc, and Midwest Food Bank New England. As a staunch supporter and advocate for small business growth, I am dedicated to making the Chamber an even more valuable and reliable strategic resource for its members. I am honored to take on this new role and look forward to helping businesses thrive and succeed under the Chamber's umbrella. During my free time, I take pleasure in boating and assisting my spouse, who happens to be a nationally renowned chef and restaurant owner, in managing our private catering and food truck business.
