LTM is seeking director applications for the upcoming 2023 season!
LTM is currently accepting applications for the following shows:
The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time
The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Simon Stephen. The story of 15-year-old Christopher Boone who has an extraordinary mind but is out of sync with the world. When he falls under suspicion for killing his neighbor’s dog, he sets out in the tradition of Sherlock Holmes on a life-changing journey to find the true culprit.
The show runs from March 31 to April 16, 2023.
CROWNS
Regina Taylor's Crowns, a moving and celebratory musical play in which hats become a springboard for an exploration of history and identity as seen through the eyes of Yolanda, a young African-American woman who has been sent South to stay with her aunt after her brother is killed in a northern city. As strong black women tell the stories of their lives through stories of their hats, Yolanda witnesses a tradition tracing back to African rituals and slavery and forward to the New Testament and contemporary fashion. Gospel music and dance underscore and support the narratives.
The show runs from August 2 to August 18, 2023.
LTM strongly encourages people of color to apply.
TO APPLY
Interested applicants should submit their resumes and a letter of interest to ArtisticDirector@cheneyhall.org by August 27th. Interviews will take place in early September, where directors should be prepared to discuss their vision and approach to the show.
