WE CAN FIX THIS: An Evening of Hilariously Defiant One Acts

Experience three uproarious one-act plays where love bravely, and often clumsily, attempts to conquer all.

Directed by Bobby Schultz

TIME FLIES by David Ives
Witness a poignant first encounter between Horace and May, two mayflies who connect instantly at a pond. Unfortunately, their budding romance takes a hilariously dark turn when a nature documentary reveals their heartbreakingly short one-day lifespan —and our small lovers realize their lives are half over!

THE AMERICAN CENTURY by Murphy Guyer
Step into the hope-filled Spring of 1945. The war has ended, and Tom Kilroy returns home to the girl whose letters got him through the conflict. Their reunion unfolds like a classic Norman Rockwell painting, brimming with joyful tears, shared laughter, and dreams of the future. But an unexpected arrival hilariously disrupts their idyllic vision – a clash between the "Greatest Generation" and the burgeoning "Me Generation" that throws their belief in progress into delightful disarray.

THE WHOLE SHEBANG by Rich Orloff
Ever wondered about the universe's origins? This wildly creative play posits a hilarious answer: what if it's all just a nerdy student's science project? In a classroom in a dimension beyond ours, a student vying for a "Master of the Universe" degree gives an oral presentation on an unusual thesis – the creation of the heavens and the earth. Prepare for a sidesplitting interrogation by two skeptical professors and a bewildered dean, featuring a very "typical" man and woman as visual aids.
