Season Canceled
Dear Little Theatre of Manchester Friends,
Our 60th anniversary season started out with a bang. MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS quickly became a favorite of so many of you. But the ripple effects of COVID-19 have reached far and wide, leaving no person, community, or industry untouched. And like many of our fellow nonprofit organizations, LTM has been forced to make incredibly difficult decisions as a result of this crisis. On March 16, we shared that we were postponing our upcoming production of OTHER DESERT CITIES.
At that time, we had high hopes of being able to shift it to a later time and resume our regularly scheduled programming. However, after waiting as long as we could and weighing countless scenarios to determine the most practical and responsible way to move forward, we are deeply saddened to announce that we must cancel the rest of our 60th anniversary season, which includes:
OTHER DESERT CITIES
IN THE HEIGHTS June 5 - 21
ENCHANTED APRIL August 7 - 23
BEAUTY AND THE BEAST November 6 - 22
If you hold tickets to any of the above shows, you have several options:
Donate the entire value of your ticket purchase to the Little Theatre of Manchester to support and sustain the organization for another 60 years
Turn the entire value of your ticket purchase into a Gift Certificate that you can use for future LTM productions
Receive a refund
We want to come back to you in the strongest way possible, but the loss in ticket sales this year is devastating. You are needed more than ever in this critical moment. If you are able to donate your tickets and not request a refund, we would be extraordinarily appreciative.
To take advantage of any of these options, please start here: www.cheneyhall.org/ltm-luminaries
If you want to make a different request, or have questions or need help? You can email us at boxoffice@cheneyhall.org or leave a message at (860) 647-9824. (Thanks in advance for your patience! We are working a limited schedule, so it will take some time to reach everyone.)
Although our 60th anniversary season came to an abrupt close, we are thankful for the moments and memories we have shared over the years. Our hearts are with the artists who would have graced our stages, the creative team members who would have transformed our spaces and the patrons who would have filled our seats.
Until we can gather within the hallowed walls of Cheney Hall, we are as committed as ever to you and everyone in our community as we seek creative ways to keep theater alive in your hearts and homes.
Looking forward to seeing you back at the theatre,
Karen Snyder, Board President
Debi Freund, Artistic Director
Dwayne Harris, Executive Director
